The Bionova Biogas GmbH was founded by Mrs. Petra Rabe and Mr. Gerhard Schindele in 2012.
Facility operators, planner and investors of biogas plant use our profound biotechnological knowledge and the experiences made in overall 40 years of consulting and research works, which were done in the area of the aerobic bioprocess engineering first and since 25 years in the anaerobic bioprocess engineering.
The continuous change of the situation on the commodity market, of the legal conditions and the possible uses of biogas continuously challenges our customers in planning and the operating of biogas plants. In the years 1992-1998 the micro-aerobic hydrolysis was developed as a preliminary stage of digesting food remains and food waste. Therewith a first stable biogas method for food waste, which allows stable operating and a high gas yield, was introduced. An aerobic hydrolysis was firstly used in a not functional agricultural biogas plant as part of the consulting work of Mrs. Rabe.
In the years 2005 to 2011 the semi-aerobic process method for extremely fibrous input materials such as cow dung, grass silage and various mixtures with manure has been developed.
Aerobic pre- digestive stages are successfully used in 21 Biogas plants in Germany at present. Various pre- digestive stages are in operation in Czech Republic, Lithuania, Republic of Belarus, France and China.
For fast and spacious implementation of the technology, represented by Bionova Biogas GmbH, in the national and international market the Bionova Biogas GmbH is cooperating with selected network partners in machine engineering, plant manufacturing, biogas consulting and research.
